Fall 2011 – Movies to Watch

I have yet to watch Jackie Chan in a non-comedy, non-kung fu role. I’m avoiding Shinjuku Incident, but I look forward to 1911.

War Horse

After watching Super 8, I feel like Spielberg has redeemed himself for the Transformers debacle. Plus, I have a ridiculous amount of empathy for films what collect inspirational stories, even if the vehicle is a horse. The soundtrack sounds like that one Matthew Broderic Civil War movie…

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

I love Tom Hanks… though I’m not sure how much political 9/11 brainwashing will be accompanying this film. I’m optimistic.
