Lessons from NaNoWriMo 2010

Writer’s block is a very real threat. I have never had trouble spouting words before, and I was completely caught off guard by the intimidating volume of a 50k quota. My final word-count is paltry and unsatisfying. I will continue to work on my story, because goshdarnit, Mina deserves to get out of the introductory phases and reach at least the first climax of the story.

I like NaNoWriMo and I hope to be better prepared next year. It was a rookie mistake, but I am determined to win that badge next time around.
